Fabric
Search of the fabrics that have a rich look but are not too heavy. Georgette, light silk mixtures, light net, organza are good. Festive are heavy brocade or pure silk, which in crammed rooms may be heavy, particularly in hot weather.
Comfort
Ensure that you can sit and walk and climb up the stairs and dance. Try your outfit ahead of time. In case the dupatta continues to slip, pins are useful or a small safety pin. Wear shoes all the time and see whether they are comfortable.

The following are some of the tips that can be used to complete your look:
» Jewellery _  One statement _ large earrings or necklace and less elaborate corresponding items. Don’t overdo. Charm may be added with a maang tikka or a hathphool. And the second possibility is purchasing with another jewelry store.
» Footwear _  Decorated juttis / mojaris / low heels or wedges, one may walk comfortably.
» Hairstyle _  Soft curls, flowered braid, low bun – fashions that do not come down in the middle of the day.
» Make up_  Let your eyes or lips speak volumes. The look can be enhanced with a shimmer shadow, winged liner and a bold lip.
» Dupatta tricks_  In case dupatta is excessive, go “dupata less” or arrange it in a very nice way so that it does not fly away (one of the tips about modern styling concepts)Tips for Choosing Based on Occasion

Tips for Choosing Based on Occasion

Diwali festivities are usually extended over several days, which is why this is how to plan:
» Day time _ Pooja at home _ Become lighter and modest. Saree, salwar or plain anarkali.
» Visiting & family meetings _ Add a little bit more details, colourful but yet comfortable things.
» Evening party _ card nights _ It is your time to get glitzy. Get decorated lehengas, blend dresses, more laborious.
» Backup clothes _ In the event you feel hot or want to change, have a lighter outfit/shawl ready to take the place of whatever clothes you are wearing, in the event you are staying out long.

A Sparkle to Remember✨

The Diwali of last year was special. I chose to put on the old crimson Banarasi saree of my mom, the saree that she wore in her first Diwali as a wife. I unwrapped it and the fabric was soft and lovely and had memories stitched down every line. I was wearing it with gold jhumkas and a smooth bun, as she used.
As I went out, she gave me a smile, the proud, teary-eyed smile of moms. You see you resemble me, as I did then, said she and took to arranging my pallu between her dainty hands.
On the evening in lights, laughter, diyas, I understood, it was not only them. It was the feeling sewn into it, the tale it was carrying and the feeling that I had when I wore it that I belonged to tradition to her to something eternal.
This Diwali I got to know that the prettiest dress is not the latest one _ but the one that makes your heart light up even better than the lamps around you.🌙💫

Final Thought

It is up to you to select your Diwali women wear, and you should be guided by the comfort, personal style, and the occasion. You do not need to strain your back trying to chase the heavy designer clothes, the best clothes are the ones that you are comfortable with, combine the old fashioned with new ones, wear whatever colours you like, have an emergency plan, and have fun.
